FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about yacht charter.

Do I need a license to charter?

It depends entirely on the type of charter. For bareboat charter (without crew), a valid sailing licence (ICC or international competency certificate) is required. However, with our crewed charter option, a professional captain and crew are on board, so you do not need any licence. Crewed charter is the most comfortable and safe option for inexperienced guests.

What is the minimum rental period?

The standard charter period is usually 1 week (7 nights). Saturday-to-Saturday or Sunday-to-Sunday periods are most common. However, depending on demand, day charter, 3-day weekend and 10–14 day long-stay options are also available. More flexible duration options can be offered in low season.

What is included in the price?

Charter price generally includes: yacht use, crew (on crewed charters), basic insurance, bed linen and towels. Fuel policy varies by yacht; some charters include fuel, others bill it separately. Food, beverages, port fees and water sports equipment are usually offered as extras. Contact us for a detailed price breakdown.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Cancellation and refund terms vary depending on the yacht, the charter period and the charter agreement. All payment, cancellation and refund terms are shared transparently with our clients before the booking is confirmed.

Can I determine my charter route myself?

Yes, absolutely! You can fully personalise your charter experience. Our experienced team creates a custom route plan based on your preferences and weather conditions. We can include your preferred bays, islands and ports in the daily schedule. You can also browse our suggested popular routes for inspiration. Your captain will also suggest safe alternatives based on sea and weather conditions.
